HODGE, Barbara Lindley

Barbara Jean Hodge of Danville, Illinois, age 53, died Wednesday, March 30, in a hospital at Houma, Louisiana. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, December 3, 1930, the daughter of William Orval and Vivian A. Hubbard Lindley. She was raised in the Kingman and Covington communities. In March 1948, she married David E. Hodge of Covington, who survives. Mrs. Hodge was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Carnation Lodge.

  Also surviving are three daughters, Glenda Hafner and Marilyn Kilbury, both of Houma, and Toni Cook of Danville; a son, Gregory of Houma; her mother of Potomac, Illinois; two sisters, Ramona Shaffer of Batesville, Arkansas, and Evelyn Tingley of Las Vegas, Nevada; a brother, Leon Lindley of Kingington, Connecticut; and eight grandchildren.
